Can we blame rhetoric for the assassination attempt on Rep. Giffords?

...along with the deaths of 6 others and the attempted murder of 6 more? I'll ask you to ponder this if you say no... Why did we hold Hitler responsible for the death of the Jews and Osama Bin Laden responsible for the death of Americans? And why is a little insignificant moron named Manson in jail? Words don't kill, but they do influence killers. They clearly influenced this one. So who do we take to the gallows? Limbaugh, Palin, Olbermann, O'Reilly, Stephanie Miller, Ed Shulz, Sean Hannity, Beck??? Or, do we blame this one on Barack H. Obama himself? Since he became pres, it's like the country has gone all the way to VISCERAL hell. Facts are optional. What say you?
