Looking To Expand My Music Taste?

I love my boyfriend and he's really into his heavy metal music, and I'd really like to be able to get into the music he likes as I really enjoy going to gigs with him. I'm mainly into indie, pop-punk and punk myself, and am a big fan of British sounding voices, I really like the Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, old Linkin Park, The Libertines, Enter Shikari, Muse, The King Blues etc. - I'm also a HUGE fan of Green Day, though mainly their older stuff/ My boyfriend has really got me into a lot of the punky sounding stuff, such as Alexisonfire, Ramones, Gallows and the Sex Pistols. I also like bands such as MCR, Nirvana, Bloc Party, The Clash, The Strokes, Razorlight, Rage Against the Machine, Papa Roach, blink-182, The White Stripes, Paramore, Bring Me the Horizon, The Futureheads and We Are the Ocean. I do like a lot of my boyfriend's music though, I've got into System of a Down, Slipknot and Iron Maiden. I would like suggestions on some kind of 'British sounding metal though, but nothing like Judas Priest, I don't like the guys voice.
