I think I'm way too emotional and sensitive?

Everyone knows that it's true that you don't get very many people who think how others would feel before they say/do something, how their actions would affect other people and that care for other people so much they sacrifice being the first one picked for them and let them go first. I'm NOT being vain, please don't turn around and say 'Oh you're so up yourself' because I'm not BUT...I just think I'm not normal. Well I am but I feel like I'm one of the few people who believe in PROPER manners, giving and receiving PROPER respect and thinking beforehand about how we should treat other people and how our actions/words can affect them. I know what's right and wrong to say or do and I live by this. I'm not a snob, I just think that the people around here are as common as muck which they are and everyone knows it. They're all brought up the same way. Their parents are too young, they haven't learnt proper etiquette, manners and what's right or wrong. They support people who beat others up despite them being YEARS older than the person they're hurting. They don't think about what it's like for the other person when they bully or tease them. I feel like screaming, 'YES ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH NOW!! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOU WERE SINGLED OUT FROM THE REST??? CAN'T YOU SEE YOU'RE HURTING THEM?' People like this are normally what causes teen suicides and they just don't get it. If I ever tried to explain that to them they say, 'WHOA Lily! Calm down! Were only having a laugh! Just because you're jewish!' It sounds ridiculous but this is what they say. I'm nt jewish, I'm an atheist by choice. My mother is jewish. It doesn't change anything as she knows anyone can be any religion you want. People call me jew because someone from my primary school spread it around that I'm jewish. Now I'm in Secondary everyone calls me it as a pet name and the teachers are dealing with it. To be honest it doesn't bother me but they're attitude is disgusting sometimes! My mates call me LJ (Lily Jew) which is okay because I know they're kidding and it's pretty funny but insulting and generalising a whole race is appalling! I just want to know why I'm so sensitive towards other people?
