How to lighten hair from light brown/red to blonde?

Hey. I dye my hair at home all the time. Go to walmart or a drug store and look at the hair dye kits. Most of them are around ten dollars, and they come with conditioner to protect your hair. You should also deep condition your hair (and deep conditioner) once a week. Don't go for the cheap five dollars hair dyes- you get what you pay for, and you won't be happy. Choose a cooler tone. It will say on the box. (cooler minimizes red) warmer, however, enhances red tones. Hope this helps! ( :
