Can i use triple jump spikes for both LJ and TJ?

im doing summer track this year, and was wondering if i could just use triple jump spikes for both long and triple jump becasue i dont want to waste money on both kinds, and i want to get an all around jump shoe but i cant find anyplaces that have them in stock, triple jump shoes seem to be much like lj shoes, just with more heel padding, so it seems like i could use them but im not sure, any advice?
