If the Republicans cause the United States to default on the debt, causing harm to the economy and the nation?

The new-libertarian stance on dissolving the Fed is treasonous, and would throw America into an economic spiral that would land us in 3rd world status. Ask any Economist, dissolving the Fed would cause interest rates to skyrocket, and would cripple any industry in the US. Democrats and Republicans both know that... Apparently OBGYNs don't know that though.
