What do i do i taught he liked me, i truly did :(?

This guy lets call him AJ, AJ's lil brother was on my lil brothers football team. AJ, his friend we'll call him LJ, me, my 2 sisters and AJs sister where hanging out at one of our bros football games. There was a creek there so i was talking to AJ and he took my hand so we held hands and walked me down to the creek. there was a rock that looked over the creek it was only lik 3 feet up, anyway AJ sat down on it so i sat down next to him and LJ and my sisters and his sister where up with our parents, anyway me and AJ where talking 4 lik 5 minutes then he looked at me and i looked at him and we just stared and he leaned in to kiss me and his lips were lik 1 inch away from my lips when LJ and my sisters and his sister came down so we quick jumped off the rock on to the ground and started talking about a random thing. and that was lik 4-5 months ago and we haven't talked about that day. anyway a few weeks after that my friend was texting me and asked me if i wanted her to ask him out for me, i said no but she did anyway and he said no. i was heart broken i didn't know i liked him until she asked him out 4 me. so ever since then i couldn't stop thinking about him! so lik 5-6 months later on new years eve i asked him out 4 myself yup u guessed it he said no :( i cried but not nearly as much. now is 2 months later and i haven't talked to him :( i am guessing he doesn't lik me. he doesn't hav a girlfriend so that's not the problem. I just dont know whats wrong
