White Comforter with Purple pillows/sheets/throw or purple comforter with white pillows/sheets/throw?

My room is all white with some purple accents through out. My bed is white. Would it be better to have purple sheets and pillows and a throw with a white comforter and accent pillow or the other way around? Any other opinions are welcome as well.
